Job summary

CCMSI in Nashville is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claim Adjuster/Consultant to manage a high-volume caseload across multiple states, investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims with strong adherence to regulations and client standards.

This role offers hybrid or remote work options, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, and a salary range of $60,000–$85,000 annually. GA license required; 5+ years' experience preferred; bilingual Spanish is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers' compensation claims handling experience.
• Active Georgia Workers' Compensation Adjuster License (or ability to obtain).
• Experience managing claims from investigation through resolution.
• Experience handling indemnity and litigated claims.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly valued but not required.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload of 85–125 claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust claims per standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and provide recommendations within authority.
• Review and approve medical, legal, damage estimates; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize payments within procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements per standards and state laws.
• Coordinate with clients, claimants and vendors; maintain diary.
• Prepare reports detailing claim status, payments and reserves.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and conferences when appropriate.
• Provide notices of qualifying claims to excess/reinsurance carriers.
