Job summary

Amerisure Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to work in a hybrid office setting in Arizona. The role requires investigating medium-complexity claims and building relationships with agencies, policyholders and employees.

Responsibilities include collaboration with agents and internal teams, coverage determination, reserves, and settlement under guidelines. Candidates should have a relevant degree, W/C claim experience, and state licensing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of workers’ compensation indemnity claim experience.
• AIC or SLA certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain state licensing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight and daily between locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agents, policyholders and internal stakeholders on medium complexity claims.
• Investigate losses, identify coverage, determine compensability, review documents.
• Develop action plans to conclude claims and settle per guidelines.
• Establish and maintain reserves reflecting financial exposure.
• Engage external resources and manage costs.
• Collaborate with counsel on litigated claims.
• Review and interpret commercial policies and communicate coverage issues.
