Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a licensed Virginia attorney to lead plaintiff-side workers' compensation litigation in the Richmond area. You will manage cases from intake through resolution, develop strategy, take and defend depositions, draft pleadings, and negotiate settlements with insurers.

You will collaborate with medical providers and experts to maximize case value, while guiding clients with clear, trusted advice.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Bar license or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• 1+ years of workers' compensation, personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, or comparable litigation experience.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and communication abilities.
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Passion for representing injured individuals and advocating on their behalf.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced legal support staff to efficiently move cases forward.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location:

This is primarily an on-site opportunity in the Richmond/Henrico, Virginia area, offering close collaboration with our legal team. Limited flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.

Note: To be considered, candidates must be licensed to practice law in Virginia (or able to obtain admission promptly), have at least 1+ year of workers' compensation or comparable litigation experience, and genuinely enjoy negotiation, advocacy, and achieving outstanding client results.
