Confidential Employer based in Colorado is seeking a senior attorney with workers' compensation expertise to lead client matters from strategy through resolution. Hybrid schedule keeps you connected with the Northern Colorado team and clients.

Active Colorado Bar, 5+ years of practice, and 1+ year WC experience are required. Spanish fluency strongly preferred, compensation includes base salary plus substantial fee-based earning potential.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of attorney practice experience.
• 1+ year of workers' compensation experience.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, legal writing, case management, and client communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workers' compensation caseload from initial evaluation through settlement, hearing, or other resolution.
• Counsel injured workers regarding benefits, medical treatment, wage loss, impairment, and the workers' compensation process.
• Develop case strategy, investigate claims, review medical evidence, and identify the strongest path toward a successful outcome.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement documents, and other legal filings.
• Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, appear at hearings and proceedings, and advocate effectively for clients.
• Negotiate with employers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties to resolve claims.
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with clients and keep them informed throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move matters efficiently and provide excellent client service.
• Build professional relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
