Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Current license to practice law in California (CA).
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a WC Defense Attorney or similar role.
Proven track record defending workers’ compensation cases.
Deep understanding of workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Strong negotiation and litigation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all phases of workers’ compensation litigation, from intake to trial.
Conduct legal research and analysis for hearings and trials.
Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlements.
Provide sound legal advice on workers’ compensation matters.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and assistants to manage cases.
