Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist for a hybrid role based in Las Vegas, NV or remote in the United States with Nevada jurisdiction expertise.

You will document and manage claims, assess liability and coverage, develop case strategies, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements while maintaining quality standards. Eligible candidates have 6+ years of claims experience, appropriate licenses, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or JD with relevant experience in claims and litigation.
• Licenses: must obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Nevada jurisdiction claims preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document claims file by accurately capturing and updating claims data in compliance with best practices for moderate to high exposure and complexity.
• Analyze facts to determine liability and coverage.
• Develop case strategy and evaluation to achieve timely resolutions.
• Establish reserves within authority limits and review throughout the claims cycle.
• Assess damages and negotiate settlements within authority.
