Job summary

North American Risk Services (NARS) seeks an experienced claims adjuster to handle a caseload with complexity, verify coverage, investigate facts of loss, and coordinate medical care when needed.

You will engage in settlement negotiations, manage subrogation opportunities, monitor reserves, mentor junior adjusters, and collaborate with management on special projects. Some travel may be required to attend conferences and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and confirm coverage.
• Contact parties within eight business hours and communicate liability, compensability, negligence, and subrogation.
• Assist with training/mentoring of Claims Adjusters and support management as needed.
• Refer subrogation potential files to the subrogation department and ensure timely file closures.
