Job summary

Roman Health Pharmacy LLC seeks an experienced Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist to manage complex multi-state claims from inception to closure. You will serve as the primary client education contact on general work comp matters and lead investigations with strategic recommendations.

The role requires advanced claims analysis, reserve setting, and proactive risk reduction, while collaborating with TPAs, defense counsel, medical providers, and injured workers to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Risk Management, Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of progressively responsible multi-state workers’ compensation claims experience, ideally in a TPA, carrier, or employer-based risk environment.
• Experience managing complex, high-exposure, and litigated claims, including settlement negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of complex workers’ compensation claims and provide detailed findings and recommendations.
• Evaluate reserves, settlement authority, and exposure; advise clients on risk mitigation and cost control.
• Support RTW programs and negotiate with attorneys, TPAs, and medical providers to reduce indemnity costs.
