Job summary

RCM&D in Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a full-time hybrid role. You will manage complex workers’ compensation claims from report to resolution, coordinating with employers, injured workers, medical providers, attorneys, and carriers.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Workers’ compensation claims oversight.
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles and regulations.
• Experience with Employee Benefits interactions.
• Certifications such as AIC/ARM/CPCU are beneficial.
• Hybrid work environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex workers’ compensation claims from initial report to resolution.
• Investigate, assess coverage, and determine compensability.
• Evaluate medical and wage-loss exposures and establish reserves.
• Negotiate settlements in line with company guidelines.
• Coordinate with employers, injured workers, medical providers, attorneys, and carriers.
• Prepare reports and maintain detailed documentation.
• Participate in claim reviews and drive process improvements.
