Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8–10+ years of related claims handling experience.
• Experience handling complex litigation, reserving, settlement strategy, and high exposure claims.
• WCCA and WCCP preferred; State Workers Compensation license required in some branches.
• Excellent understanding of laws and jurisdictional restraints to manage claims.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex claims inventories requiring advanced technical expertise and strategic handling.
• Communicate with policyholders, agents, attorneys, and witnesses to gather information and provide high-level service.
• Investigate claims promptly, assess exposure, and make strategic recommendations.
• Direct defense counsel through litigation in line with ICW Group guidelines while monitoring costs.
• Ensure accuracy of data in claims systems for regulatory reporting and transfer knowledge across the organization.
