Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego seeks a Claims Examiner to deliver high-level service and equitable resolutions for workers’ compensation claims. You will manage moderately complex claims, gather information from policyholders, agents, and witnesses, and work with counsel within guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 1–4+ years of claims experience; WCCA/WCCP preferred and WC licensure may be required in some branches. This is a full-time position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–4+ years’ related claims or claims handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of a moderately complex claims inventory.
• Communicates with policyholders, agents, attorneys, and witnesses to gather information and provide customer service.
• Investigates claims to determine exposure and makes strategic recommendations.
• Operates within state laws and company policies; coordinates with defense counsel during litigation.
