Strategic Comp is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high exposure. The role is primarily remote with periodic travel within the Pacific Region and Pacific Time Zone business hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate settlements with insureds and claimants.
• Experience handling high exposure workers' compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate losses and assess coverage and compensability.
• Establish reserves and negotiate settlements.
• Conduct meetings with insureds and claimants by phone.
• Prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences.
• Attend settlement conferences as assigned.
• Collaborate with defense attorneys and vendors.
