NIIC National Interstate Insurance Company is seeking a Workers Comp Senior Claims Representative to join its team. The role offers hybrid work from Richfield, OH four days a week or full remote work from the USA, with core in-office days and remote flexibility.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of property and casualty claims experience, with New England handling experience preferred. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

• Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, insurance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of property and casualty claims handling experience.
• New England state handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims procedures.

Mansioni

• Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability and liability.
• Plan and conduct investigations to confirm coverage and determine liability and damages.
• Negotiate settlements and reserves within authority; attend arbitrations or trials as needed.
• Communicate complex information about coverage and settlements to insureds and partners.
• Authorize payments within authority limits and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain detailed claim files and related documentation.
