Responsibilities

• Investigate workers' compensation claims by contacting injured workers, medical providers, and employers; determine validity under applicable statutes.
• Review medical bills to ensure they relate to the workers' comp injury and treatment plan.
• Ensure timely payments of medical bills and income replacement per fee schedules and laws.
• Answer questions regarding claim status from claimants, policyholders and providers.
• Consult with attorneys on litigation management, settlement strategy, and claim resolution.
