Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a highly capable Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment. You will adjudicate highly complex indemnity claims across SC/VA jurisdictions while working from anywhere in the United States.

Role requires five years' experience, a Bachelor's degree, and SC license at start, with a broad scope for independent judgment and overtime as needed. Benefits are government-mandated only for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
• SC license required at start of assignment.
• Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in SC/VA jurisdictions is required.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims within broad limits and authority.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties.
• Analyze forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverage applicability.
• Prepare reports and documentation for file accuracy and audit readiness.
• Negotiate settlements and manage timelines to achieve favorable financial outcomes.
