Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a seasoned Workday Absence and Time Tracking Lead to join our delivery team on a contract basis. This role requires deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence within complex Workday programs and the ability to work remotely for a United States client.

You will own the delivery of Time Tracking and Absence functionality, translate client policies into scalable Workday designs, lead requirements sessions, and guide other consultants while supporting project planning

Qualifications

• Active Workday Time Tracking and Absence certification.
• 3+ years of Workday implementation experience with 3 end-to-end implementations.
• Hands-on experience configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence in recent projects.
• Experience with Workday implementation methodologies (Your Way, Launch, or Launch Express).
• Strong knowledge of Time Tracking, Absence, and HR/payroll ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of Time Tracking and Absence functionality within complex Workday programs.
• Translate client processes and workforce policies into scalable Workday designs and configurations.
• Facilitate requirements sessions, solution reviews, and meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
• Help clients evaluate alternatives, identify risks, and make informed decisions about their Workday environment.
• Take accountability for deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and issue resolution.”
• Establish strong client relationships and communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences.
• Provide guidance to other consultants and contribute specialist knowledge to the team.
• Assist with project planning, effort estimation, proposals, and business development.
• Support continuous improvement of delivery methods, tools, and internal practices.
• Participate in post-production support or optimization activities.
