Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a skilled Workday Payroll consultant to implement and configure enterprise-scale payroll solutions for clients in the United States. You will leverage your deep knowledge of US payroll regulations and FEIN handling, and work closely with customers to design fit-for-purpose solutions.

In this role you will mentor junior team members, collaborate across Time Tracking, Absence and Benefits interdependencies, and help drive successful delivery under tight deadlines while maintaining

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• At least 2 years configuring Workday Payroll implementation from E2E with the last 3 years.
• Certification in Workday United States Payroll.
• The ability to build complex payroll calculations.
• Experience with multiple positions.
• Experience with implementing multiple FEIN's.
• Strong understanding of state taxes, local taxes, and FLSA calculations.
• An understanding of Workday Payroll, US Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence products and the interdependencies with Benefits, Time Tracking and Absence as well as other cross functional capabilities.
• Experience with Payroll regulatory requirements (Tax, Garnishments, Common Pay Master), retirement benefits (401K etc.), payroll processing, Unions/Collective Bargaining Agreements and payroll accounting.

• Implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base.
• Build relationships with customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable.
• Provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements.
• Support junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.
