Job summary

Jackson Healthcare, headquartered in metro Atlanta, seeks an experienced Senior Workday Payroll Lead to drive end-to-end payroll implementations and ongoing optimization across multiple companies and states.

You will manage design, configuration, testing, and go-live activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with HR, Finance, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field required; equivalent combination considered.
• 7+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll systems, or Workday implementation.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience.
• Multi‑company, multi‑state payroll experience.
• Experience leading or contributing to payroll system implementations with data conversion and parallel testing.
• Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office 365 suite.
• Workday certification preferred; CPP preferred.
• Experience with UKG Pro, ADP, Ceridian, or similar systems.
• Experience supporting payroll operations during transitions.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support for multiple companies transitioning from UKG.
• Manages payroll operations, calendar planning, and compliance across operating companies.
• Mentors junior payroll staff and maintains implementation documentation.
• Drives continuous improvement through Workday automation and feature adoption.
