Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Senior Workday Payroll Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance our Workday Payroll environment from a remote setup with a Dallas footprint. You will partner across Payroll, HR, Finance, Benefits, and IT to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing while driving continuous system improvements.

The role requires extensive Workday Payroll configuration, production support, and reporting expertise, plus strong collaboration and communication skills to manage

Qualifications

• Workday Payroll Certification required.
• 6+ years supporting HRIS, Payroll Systems or Payroll Ops.
• 4+ years hands-on Workday Payroll admin experience.
• Strong experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll.
• Deep understanding of payroll processing, costing, retro payroll, reconciliations and auditing.
• Experience with payroll integrations to third-party vendors and ERP apps.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex issues.
• Experience developing Workday reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Experience with Workday biannual releases and testing (Unit, SIT, UAT).
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 production support for Workday Payroll.
• Troubleshoot payroll processing issues and data quality concerns.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements with SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Support payroll activities: earnings, deductions, taxes, retro payroll, reconciliations.
• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll and related security roles.
• Implement configuration changes driven by business or regulatory needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal controls.
• Support payroll audits and compliance activities.
• Maintain integrations with Benefits, ERP, Banking interfaces; monitor and resolve errors.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and audit controls.
• Evaluate biannual releases and coordinate testing/deployments.
• Lead payroll testing: Unit, SIT, UAT; collaborate with various teams.
