Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a Senior Workday Payroll Analyst to provide production support for Workday Payroll and related modules. This remote role, with a primary location in Dallas, TX, requires strong tax, compliance, and integration experience and offers broad benefits and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead testing, implement configuration changes, and coordinate with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Workday Payroll Certification is required.
• 6+ years supporting HRIS, Payroll Systems, or Payroll Operations.
• 4+ years hands-on Workday Payroll administration and support.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, calculations, costing, retro payroll, reconciliations, and security.
• Experience with payroll integrations and external vendors.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis.
• Experience developing Workday reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience supporting Workday biannual releases and testing cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Workday Payroll.
• Troubleshoot payroll processing issues, data quality concerns, and integration failures.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements with SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions.
• Support payroll processing activities including earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll elements, codes, and schedules.
• Implement payroll configuration changes per business or regulatory needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and internal controls.
• Support payroll audits and compliance activities.
• Maintain payroll integrations with Time & Attendance, Benefits providers, ERP, and tax agencies.
• Develop Workday reports, dashboards, and audit controls; supervise testing (Unit/SIT/UAT).
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, Benefits, Time Tracking, and IT teams.
