Job summary

Moody's is seeking a senior architect to lead the architecture and integration of enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Workday, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with business goals.

You will own Workday integration design, create architecture diagrams, and collaborate with product managers, HR, and Finance owners to translate requirements into practical, well‑designed solutions. Emphasis on cloud-native patterns, security, and AI‑driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development and enterprise systems architecture.
• Significant hands‑on experience with Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday web services).
• Experience integrating Workday with identity management, payroll providers, data warehouses, or SaaS apps; MuleSoft/SAP CPI a plus.
• Solid knowledge of AWS/Azure; containerization and CI/CD pipelines preferred.
• Proficiency designing RESTful APIs and microservices; able to produce diagrams and workflows.
• Strong understanding of secure coding, identity management, encryption, and data privacy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience applying AI to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Workday integration design and development (EIBs, Core Connectors, API connections).
• Define and maintain architecture diagrams, specs, and workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, HR/Finance system owners to translate requirements into solutions.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid integrations on AWS or Azure with microservices/API patterns.
• Uphold coding standards, security, data governance and compliance for sensitive data.
• Lead design reviews, performance assessments, and scalability planning.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI opportunities for enterprise systems.
• Maintain architecture runbooks and design artifacts for operations.
