Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Integration Engineer specializing in Workday Extend to architect and deliver enterprise-grade integrations across the HR platform. You will guide architecture, security models, and engineering best practices while partnering with product, security, and business teams.

You will lead Agile delivery within multiple teams, drive automation and AI-driven enhancements, and ensure scalable, reliable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on Workday development experience.
Strong knowledge of Workday Extend architecture and lifecycle.
Experience with Workday integrations including Studio/Orchestrate/Core Connectors/EIBs/APIs/WS.
Proficient in REST/SOAP/JSON/XML and integration patterns.
Ability to define enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
Experience leading Agile delivery and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, development, testing, and support of Workday-based integrations.
Architect scalable solutions using Extend, APIs, Studio, and EIBs.
Influence engineering standards and security across the platform.
Partner with Product, Security, and Business teams to deliver scalable HR solutions.
Drive Agile delivery, backlog refinement, and sprint planning across multiple teams.
Promote automation, AI, observability, and operational excellence.
Analyze and optimize business processes and workflows within Workday.
