Job summary
AlphaGov seeks an experienced Workday Implementation Lead / SME to drive HCM, Financials, and Payroll implementations for city, county, and state projects. You will manage workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and oversee data migration from legacy systems.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on Workday deployment experience, strong project leadership, and the ability to support proposals with past-performance narratives. Remote-first with travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Workday implementation experience on at least one full lifecycle deployment.
- Deep functional expertise in Workday HCM, Financials, Procurement, or Payroll.
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors) and data conversion from legacy systems.
- Experience with testing, cutover, organizational change management, and end-user training.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support Workday implementation workstreams (HCM, Financials, Procurement, Payroll) from plan to post-production stabilization.
- Serve as Workday PM or functional lead, coordinating agency stakeholders and IT/finance teams.
- Design and oversee integrations and data migration from legacy systems.
- Plan and deliver organizational change management and user training for go-live readiness.
- Contribute qualifications and staffing approach to AlphaGov proposals when permitted.
