Job summary

Checkr is seeking a highly experienced Workday specialist to own and advance our Workday platform end to end. You will configure, integrate, and optimize modules across HR, IT, and Finance while driving adoption and automation.

You will lead releases, design scalable processes, and partner with vendors to deliver solutions that scale with the business. This role emphasizes proactive leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR technology experience with deep, hands‑on Workday expertise.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple Workday modules (HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Recruiting).
• Hands‑on experience building integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security model, business process framework, calculated fields, and advanced reporting.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills; proactive and self‑starter.

Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership & Roadmap – Own Workday platform roadmap and release alignment.
• Configuration & Optimization – Lead configuration, testing, and deployment across Workday modules.
• Release Management & Health – Conduct regression testing and health checks for releases.
• Integrations & Automation – Build integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and APIs.
• Self‑Service & Employee Experience – Optimize processes and UX to reduce admin burden.
• AI & Analytics – Evaluate and implement Workday AI, analytics, and data privacy practices.
• Cross‑Functional Partnership – Translate requirements and manage vendor/partner relationships.
