Cognizant is seeking a Workday HCM Senior Principal Consultant to drive design, delivery, and success of Workday HCM implementations. You will guide clients and project teams, delivering strategic HR transformation and leading medium to large deployments.

You will mentor consultants, support pre-sales, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions follow Workday best practices and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience across end-to-end deployments.
• Active Workday HCM Certification required.
• Willingness to travel on-site as needed; UK residency for clearance eligibility where applicable.
• Strong leadership and consulting skills with executive stakeholder experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a senior Workday HCM SME across Core HCM and related areas (Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, Learning).
• Lead client workshops, discovery sessions and design discussions to define scalable Workday solutions aligned to business requirements and best practices.
• Own solution design and provide oversight across configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Act as the functional lead for medium to large Workday HCM implementations, managing key decisions and risks.
• Provide strategic HR transformation guidance to clients and lead adoption efforts.
• Collaborate with Reporting, Security, Integrations, Payroll, Change Management and Project Management teams.
• Support testing, data conversion, cutover, and deployment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach consultants, delivering quality reviews and functional leadership.
• Support business development activities including estimations, proposals, demonstrations, and customer presentations.
• Contribute to practice development through methodology improvements and knowledge sharing.
