Job summary

Alpha Alternatives, part of Alpha Group, seeks a senior Workday Financials leader to drive end-to-end delivery across multi-entity engagements. You will translate complex accounting needs into scalable Workday configurations and guide executive partners through design and delivery decisions.

Role requires experience leading diverse teams, managing governance, and delivering impactful finance transformations. US-based remote work with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday Financials delivery experience with multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex functional workstreams and providing solution architecture leadership.
• Deep understanding of corporate accounting, FDM, General Ledger, multi-entity structures, consolidations, intercompany activity, allocations, and financial reporting.
• Strong executive client management, workshop facilitation, team leadership, and delivery governance capabilities.
• Financial services or private markets experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership: Own end-to-end functional delivery across complex Workday Financials engagements and serve as a senior escalation point for client stakeholders.
• Discovery & Solution Design: Lead discovery workshops and translate requirements into Workday designs.
• Functional Architecture: Translate finance blueprints into scalable Workday configurations.
• Functional Delivery: Lead GL, P2P, Expenses, Banking, and reporting within Workday Financials.
• Quality Assurance: Direct testing strategies, data validation, and go-live readiness.
• Client Leadership: Build trusted relationships with CFOs and project teams.
• Team Leadership & Resource Management: Mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants.
• Market & Thought Leadership: Participate in industry forums and share practical Workday insights.
• Innovation & Practice Contribution: Stay current on Workday releases and AI capabilities.
