As part of Mercer, the world’s largest HR consulting firm, our Digital Solutions practice is a certified Workday implementation partner specializing in business and cloud consulting, transforming clients' businesses. We leverage expertise in big data, cloud computing, and enterprise services to provide full-lifecycle solutions. Our Workday practice includes specialists in Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance, process improvement, historical data conversion, and cloud software integrations.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Digital Solutions practice. This remote role can be based anywhere in the United States:

Senior Workday Certified Financials Consultant

What can you expect?

• Lead the implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules, supporting clients throughout the process and ensuring timely, within-budget delivery.
• Help clients leverage Workday technology to enhance Finance, HR, and talent management, optimizing financial capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading Workday Financials design sessions, gathering requirements, and documenting decisions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align Workday solutions with business objectives and translating requirements into configurations.
• Providing best practices and guidance on data conversion, testing, and configuration enhancements.

Minimum requirements:

• Workday Financials Certification(s) from a Workday partner.
• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience and 10-15 years in Financials.
• Deep understanding of Workday configuration and implementation methodology.
• Experience in financial reporting (balance sheet, P&L).
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• PRISM reporting experience.
• Leadership experience in Workday implementation areas like Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, or Adaptive Planning.
• Experience developing FDM.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
