Our Workday practice consists of specialists with deep expertise in Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance, process improvement, historical data conversion, and cloud software integrations.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Digital Solutions practice at Mercer. This remote role may be based anywhere in the United States:

Senior Workday Certified Financials Consultant

What can you expect?

• In this lead-level role, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules, supporting our clients through the entire lifecycle of Workday implementations and ensuring project deliverables are met within the specified timelines and budget.
• You will help our clients leverage Workday technology to enhance and unify Finance, Human Resources, and talent management, enabling them to optimize their financial management capabilities.

We will count on you to:

• Lead Workday Financials design sessions with clients to gather requirements and document key decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring that the Workday solution aligns with the client's objectives; then translating business requirements into Workday Financials configuration, and leading the configuration of Workday modules through multiple prototype environments to fulfill client-specific needs, enhancing functionality and user experience.
• Provide recommended approaches and best practices for clients based on industry and client requirements.
• Assist clients with data conversion from legacy systems into Workday.
• Provide guidance and direction to clients during various testing cycles of prototypes.

What you need to have:

• Current Workday Financials Certification(s) from a Workday partner (Procure to Pay, Financial Accounting, Expenses, Budgets, Supply Chain).
• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience and a total of 10-15 years of Financials experience.
• A deep understanding of Workday's configuration options.
• Experience working with the various phases of an implementation lifecycle and knowledge of implementation methodology.
• Experience in designing and building financial reports such as balance sheet and P&L.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

• PRISM reporting experience.
• Workday implementation experience in a lead role on areas like Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, or Adaptive Planning.
• Experience developing FDM as a lead.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance) preferred.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $111,600 to $223,200. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and other factors. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
