As part of Mercer, the world’s largest HR consulting firm, our Digital Solutions practice is a certified Workday implementation partner specializing in business and cloud consulting, transforming our clients' businesses through expertise in big data, cloud computing, and enterprise services. Our Workday practice includes specialists in Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance, process improvement, data conversion, and software integrations.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Digital Solutions practice. This remote role may be based anywhere in the United States:

Senior Workday Certified Financials Consultant

What can you expect?

• Oversee the complete implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules, supporting clients through all phases of Workday implementations, ensuring project deliverables are met within timelines and budgets.
• Help clients leverage Workday technology to enhance Finance, HR, and talent management, optimizing financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Workday Financials design sessions, gather requirements, and document decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations, leading configuration in multiple prototype environments.
• Provide best practice recommendations based on industry and client needs.
• Assist with data conversion from legacy systems into Workday.
• Guide clients during testing cycles of prototypes.

Minimum qualifications:

• Workday Financials Certification(s) from a Workday partner (Procure to Pay, Financial Accounting, Expenses, Budgets, Supply Chain).
• 5+ years of Workday implementation experience and 10-15 years of Financials experience.
• Deep understanding of Workday configuration options.
• Experience across implementation phases and methodologies.
• Experience designing financial reports like balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• PRISM reporting experience.
• Lead role in Workday implementation areas such as Financial Accounting, Supply Chain, or Adaptive Planning.
• Experience developing FDM.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

The salary range is $111,600 to $223,200, determined by experience, skills, and other factors. This role may include performance incentives. Our total rewards include health benefits, tuition assistance, 401K, and more.
