Capital One seeks Workday Engineers to build highly-resilient, Finance technology solutions that drive customer value in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As part of a team advancing Capital One’s Finance Technology ecosystem, you will design end-to-end Workday platform solutions across General Ledger, Expenses, Invoices and Payments, while integrating REST/SOAP APIs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Workday platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years designing and developing end-to-end Workday solutions.
• 2+ years working with Workday APIs (REST or SOAP).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
• Deliver solutions for Capital One's Global Finance organization using capabilities in Workday Financials modules including Core Financials, Expenses, Accounting Center and Prism.
• Deliver solutions in Workday platform across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards.
• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities.
• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance.
• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective.
• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues.
