Job summary

DTN is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Workday Finance to join our Finance engineering organization. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software for enterprise Finance applications and services, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, QA, and Finance experts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong OO design, and expertise in Java, Python, C++, Go, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C++, Go, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable software services.
• Own complex technical problems from requirements through deployment.
• Design and implement reliable APIs, backend services, data models, and distributed systems.
• Develop solutions for financial transactions, accounting, billing, revenue, reporting, and related workflows.
• Ensure data is accurate, secure, and auditable.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
