Job summary

Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Workday Finance Lead – Accounting & Planning for a 13-month-plus extension engagement in Texas. The role focuses on owning the R2R process, managing the Financial Data Model, and integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Core Fin.

The candidate will oversee tax and treasury configurations, and design reporting for balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow. The position is an hourly-rate contract (DOE).

Qualifications

• Senior Workday Finance lead with expertise in R2R, period-close, and financial data modeling.
• Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning and bank account management.

Responsibilities

• Own the Financial Data Model (FDM) and configure journals, fixed assets, and allocations.
• Design and maintain the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.
• Configure Bank Account Management, tax rules, and treasury adapters.
• Design composite reports for external financial statements (B/S, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Provide L2 support for daily run: resolve unposted journals, fix date mismatches, and bank reconciliation issues.

Work Authorization

• Record to Report (R2R): Own the Financial Data Model (FDM). Configure Business Processes for Journals, Fixed Assets, and Allocations. Design the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.


• Adaptive Planning: Maintain the integration between Workday Core Fin and Adaptive. Manage versions, sheets, and level structures for annual budgeting and forecasting.


• Tax & Treasury: Configure Bank Account Management, Settlement Rules, and Ad-hoc Bank Transactions. Manage withholding tax rules and sales tax adapter integrations.


• Reporting: Design Composite Reports for external financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).

L2 Support & Operational Activities (Daily Run)

• Period Close Support: Troubleshoot \"red\" errors preventing period close (e.g., resolving unposted journals, fixing accounting date mismatches).


• Bank Reconciliation : Investigate and fix bank statement lines that fail to auto-reconcile with system transactions.


• Adaptive User Support: Tro ubleshoot access issues for budget managers and fix broken formulas in Adaptive sheets.


• FDM Governance: Review and approve requests for new Cost Centers or Ledger Accounts, ensuring they map correctly to Adaptive.
