Medica Services Company LLC is seeking an experienced Finance Leader to own core financial system processes within Workday, ensuring data accuracy and robust reporting. The role partners with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and IT to standardize finance operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on Workday/health payer financial reporting expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of work experience beyond degree.
• 5+ years Workday and/or Health Payer Financial Reporting Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead core financial system processes (Workday) including general ledger, journal processing, payables, and cash functions.
• Ensure effective financial close execution and data accuracy; manage close calendar and resolve issues.
• Manage system enhancements and integrations; maintain enhancement roadmap and evaluate new Workday features.
• Maintain financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness; document processes and control points.
• Drive change management and adoption; partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to enable new capabilities.
