Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Workday Application Developer for a 100% remote US-based role. You will configure Workday across reporting, calculated fields, business processes, and Extend development to deliver value for HR, finance, and IT stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Workday experience, strong engineering discipline, and proven ability to translate business requirements into reliable configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM and Finance.
• Hands-on experience configuring business processes and condition rules.
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with Workday tenant management and release process.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clean Workday configurations.
• Design and implement reports, calculations, and business processes.
• Support integrations and lightweight Workday Extend development.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
