Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Workday SME to support Core HCM, Security, Payroll, and more. You will lead requirements gathering, analyze processes, and deliver scalable solutions while ensuring compliance and end-to-end automation.

The role requires independent work, strong collaboration, and proficiency in Excel for data analysis. Nice-to-have: Workday Pro and Workday Studio experience, plus broader reporting experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Workday.
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with human resource policies and compliance to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Ability to develop skills in end-to-end automation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with individuals at all levels.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
• Nice to haves: Workday Pro certified; experience in other areas of Workday such as reporting, complex calculated fields, and talent optimization; Workday Studio experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME across multiple Workday modules: Core HCM, Security, Payroll/Earnings, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
• Provide production support, researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
• Lead projects by collecting requirements, proposing solutions or alternative methods to meet business needs, and implementing those requirements in Workday.
• Proactively stay current with Workday updates and new features, ensuring the organization leverages the latest capabilities.
• Understand the impact of changes on other modules and downstream processes.
• Map out and document configurations, system processes, field definitions, and user guides.
