Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing has been retained to assist a Dallas-based marketing and communications agency in hiring a Sr. Web Developer. The role combines hands-on coding with client-facing delivery, owning technical aspects from discovery through launch and beyond.

You’ll stay hands-on in Drupal and WordPress, collaborating with UX and design teams to translate concepts into working websites while ensuring accessibility, SEO, security, and performance best practices.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of web development experience.
• Strong WordPress development experience.
• Experience owning complex, custom website projects from requirements through launch.
• Strong client-facing communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with UX and design teams to turn concepts into functioning websites.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, SEO, security, deployment and best practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and business applications.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on coding, client interaction, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of client website projects from discovery to launch and ongoing support.
• Remain hands-on in Drupal and WordPress development.
• Translate client business requirements into technical specifications.
• Review sitemaps, wireframes, designs with UX/design teams for feasibility.
• Make technical architecture and development decisions for client projects.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
