Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified professional to own process design for Putaway, GPM, and Warehouse functions within a modernized WMS. You will develop future design requirements, cycle time models, and Standard Work while leading cross-functional teams across product, field, and analytics.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in supply chain or WMS environments, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and strong data visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, process improvement, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, engineering, process improvement, or WMS product/technology.
• Experience using data, observation, root-cause problem solving to improve processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in large scope or multiple workstreams.
• Fundamental knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, value stream mapping, metric planning or pilot/validation planning.
• Strong analytical capability using Excel and operational data.
• Ability to create clear written and visual materials explaining complex process, engineering, data, and business tradeoffs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience with distribution center operations, warehouse process design, material handling systems, and WMS.
• Experience developing business cases, pilots, validating operational performance, or transitioning solutions to operational-owner teams.
• Experience with data extraction, data visualization, simulation, Miro, Smartsheet, or similar tools is desired.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, supply chain, industrial engineering, or automation-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own process design for Putaway, GPM, and Warehouse functions.
• Create future design requirements and process flows for a modernized Warehouse Management System
• Create and maintain cycle time models and Standard Work documentation
• Lead training, field implementation, and problem solving through run-state handoff
• Define process opportunities and solutions
• Lead or project manage cross-functional teams and initiatives
• Frame problems, impacts, measurable opportunities, assumptions, risks, decision points, business case inputs, and recommendations
• Coordinate with product, technology, field, data and analytics, finance, safety, and quality partners
• Use benchmarking, operational observations, data analysis, root-cause analysis, and metric planning to assess scalability and business value
• Develop and manage project plans, decision logs, action items, test plans, validation criteria, and handoff documentation
• Create clear, visually effective communication materials translating complex insights, tradeoffs, progress, risks, and recommendations
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions to clarify roles, resolve misalignment, remove barriers, and maintain momentum
