Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a senior IT professional to lead WMS and YMS design, configuration, and implementation across distribution centers and facilities. You will work with enterprise systems, ERP, TMS and in-house developers to deliver high-quality system enhancements that meet business needs.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/consulting for retail/distribution, 3+ years WMS/YMS design, and strong problem-solving and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS; relevant experience may substitute for education
• 5+ years IT/Consulting experience in retail/distribution with focus on solution delivery
• 3+ years hands-on WMS, YMS design and implementation
• Experience with multi-channel order management and integration with logistics systems
• Knowledge of WMS/YMS integration with ERP and inventory systems
• Strong problem solving and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
• Detail-oriented and highly organized

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS and YMS design, development and configuration changes
• Deliver WMS/YMS functionality by collaborating with ERP, TMS and distribution teams
• Design and implement high-quality software solutions meeting business needs
• Participate in cross-functional IT coordination on issues and design planning
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration with YMS, TMS and WMS
• Manage integration challenges between enterprise systems and external apps
• Support and enhance distribution and reporting space configurations
• Be available to support distribution centers and advise on integration points after hours

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
