Job summary

Wesco International, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Architect – Development (WMS Development) to design and deliver Java-based WMS solutions that support warehouse operations, inventory, and fulfillment.

You will architect scalable apps, REST APIs, microservices, and integrations across WMS, ERP, OMS, and third-party systems in a cloud-native environment. You will lead Java development teams, drive architecture with Spring, ensure Agile SDLC practices, and guide modernization using

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on Java development with enterprise apps using Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL Server, Web Services.
• 5+ years leading software teams delivering complex enterprise apps in Agile environments.
• 3+ years WMS development incl. customization, integration and warehouse automation.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, API integrations and high-volume processing.
• Proficient in Azure cloud technologies, AKS, data factory, Databricks and CI/CD practices.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across business and tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Java development teams for enterprise WMS applications and automation.
• Drive architecture using Spring, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery across Agile sprints and releases; ensure quality and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Guide cross-functional resources and coordinate initiatives for WMS enhancements.
• Evaluate and implement software solutions; document designs and modifications.
• Resolve complex software and data integration challenges in cloud-native setups.
• Shape features for the cloud platform with IT leadership and business partners.
