Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC in Carson, CA seeks a Sr. Application Engineer to lead design and development of WMS application software and integration objects. You will connect the WMS with ERP, TMS and customer systems, delivering custom solutions to streamline operations.

The role requires collaboration with Operations and other teams, strong SQL expertise, experience with SSRS/Power BI, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with configuring/modifying accounts within SCALE (mandatory).
• Proven track record in WMS configuration, implementation and support.
• Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools (Microsoft SSRS, PowerBI).
• Experience with EDI, API and data integration.
• Ability to develop software code objects to support business flows and transform/persist data.
• Experience with warehouse automation/robotics and integration to the WMS host.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS projects, upgrades and integrations with ERP, TMS and warehouse automation systems
• Identify root cause of persistent issues and recommend permanent solutions.
• Develop APIs and other integration objects to connect applications and warehouse automation.
• Develop software code and stored procedures to transform data and support custom business flows.
• Create and execute SQL queries to persist data; reporting; data transformation and performance monitoring.
• Analyze customer requirements and design integration flows to persist data into WMS schemas.
• Deliver clear instructions to audiences at different levels and guide task completion.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred
