Job summary

Corner Alliance is seeking a Telecommunications Researcher with 10+ years of wireless R&D experience to provide senior-level oversight for a federal government client. You will help frame workshops, translate research results into development and deployment outcomes, and connect researchers with industry partners.

This is a primarily remote role with two semi-annual meetings in the United States. Excellent written communication, leadership, and the ability to engage with government,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in wireless telecommunications research or related field.
• Experience collaborating with government, industry, and academia.
• Ability to translate research into practical technology transitions.

Responsibilities

• Advise on technical framing of workshops, webinars, panels, and demonstration events.
• Translate foundational research results toward development, demonstration, and translation outcomes.
• Identify translation opportunities and connect research teams with relevant industry partners and vertical-market stakeholders.
• Support recurring progress meetings with funded teams and with NSF Program Directors.
• Serve as a liaison to research testbeds, standards bodies, and industry alliances.
• Contribute technical perspective to collaboration and teaming activities that bring research teams together.
• Advise the Virtual Office on the global telecom landscape movement and program focus.
• Provide input to program reporting, lessons learned, and improvement processes.
