Job summary

Omni Design Technologies, Inc. seeks a Principal / Lead Wireless Communications System Architect to own the architecture of complex multi-antenna SDR platforms.

You will be the primary technical interface to customer teams, drive system-level specifications, and guide both analog/digital subsystems and silicon implementations. The role demands strong expertise in MIMO, channel estimation, quantization and error budgeting, and end-to-end modeling using MATLAB/Python.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in MIMO and multi-user spatial processing architectures.
• End-to-end signal chain modeling including quantization and error budgeting.
• System-level modeling using MATLAB or Python; ability to explain complex decisions to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture for multi-antenna SDR platforms and guide roadmaps.
• Lead engagements with strategic customers, negotiating performance specifications.
• Create and maintain MATLAB/Python models of the signal chain and RF/non-linearities.
• Generate precise block-level specifications for digital baseband, calibration engines, and RF interfacing.
• Align digital architecture with signal processing, mixed-signal design, and power/thermal constraints.
• Collaborate with validation and silicon bring-up teams to ensure traceability of models to silicon.
