Job summary

Mytra is seeking a Senior Wireless RF Systems Engineer to lead hardware development for next‑gen wireless products. You will own RF lifecycle from schematic capture to mass production and FCC certification, focusing on board‑level and system‑level design and validation.

You will collaborate with EE and Wireless SW/FW teams to ensure seamless hardware‑software integration, drive antenna down‑selection, and enable high‑volume manufacturing at our Brisbane, CA headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands‑on hardware RF systems engineering.
• Proven track record shipping high‑volume wireless systems.
• Knowledge of Wi‑Fi, UWB, Wi‑Fi HaLow, and Cellular tech.
• Foundational understanding of Enterprise AP network design and Mesh networks.
• Experience with AP network design tools and RF simulation suites (Ekahau, Insite, CST, or ADS).
• Deep expertise in board‑level RF schematic design, layout optimization, and impedance matching.
• Extensive experience with lab equipment for conducted/radiated testing (network analyzers, anechoic chambers).
• Experience with regulatory compliance pipelines, FCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Own schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout routing for high‑performance wireless systems.
• Design Enterprise AP networks and Mesh architectures to optimize hardware performance.
• Use RF tools to model coverage, predict interference, and optimize hardware before deployment.
• Drive antenna down selection and mitigate RF desense across multi‑radio systems.
• Conduct RF testing and system verification across Wi‑Fi, cellular, and sub‑GHz bands.
• Lead FCC certification preparation and carrier validation where applicable.
• Collaborate with EE and Wireless SW/FW teams for hardware‑software integration.
• Guide designs through NPI to high‑volume manufacturing and robust test plans.
