Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Wireless TAC Engineer to join our enterprise networking team in California. You will become the subject matter expert for Enterprise Wireless and wired networks while engaging with customers to resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities include triaging escalations, building testbeds, reproducing issues, and working with developers to drive solutions. 7+ years of related experience and a strong networking/Wi‑Fi background are required.

Qualifications

• In-depth Knowledge in Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networking.
• In-depth Knowledge in 802.11 Wi-Fi standards.
• HPE Router & Switch Certifications is a plus.
• Experience level: 7+ years.
• BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve customer support escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality and timeliness.
• Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds.
• Understand features and reproduce customer issues.
• File tickets on bugs found.
• Analyze logs and pinpoint root causes.
• Work with developers and drive solutions.
• Participate in meetings and provide status reports.
