Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Wireless TAC Engineer to join our on-site team in a role designed for working primarily from an HPE office. You will be the expert on enterprise wireless and wired networks, handling escalations, and driving robust test environments.

The ideal candidate has deep Layer 2/3 networking and 802.11 Wi‑Fi knowledge, with 7+ years of relevant experience and relevant BA/BS/MS in EECS or related fields.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• In-depth knowledge of 802.11 Wi‑Fi standards.
• BA/BS/MS in EECS or related field; experience level 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve customer support escalations from multiple inbound channels.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality and timeliness.
• Build and maintain Layer 2/3 network testbeds.
• Understand features and reproduce customer issues.
• File tickets on bugs found.
• Analyze logs and pinpoint root causes.
• Work with developers and drive solutions.
• Participate in meetings and provide status reports.
