Job summary

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise wireless networks—delivering reliable, high-performance connectivity across our infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will lead RF planning, configure Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7, ensure security through 802.1X, and collaborate with IT and security teams to optimize DAS and wireless survey tools for peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Wireless Network Engineer or similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Ruckus, Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ISE.
• Ability to pass a background check at Public Trust level, Tier 1.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in RF fundamentals, wireless protocols, wireless authentication, and cellular technologies.
• Work with carriers and understand signal sources.
• Architect and deploy enterprise level Wi‑Fi solutions (Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7) focusing on scalability, security, and high availability.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot wireless network equipment (APs, controllers, antennas).
• Monitor network performance and optimize wireless connectivity and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce wireless security protocols.
