Job description

We are searching for a Senior Wireless Network Analyst to support Local and Wide Area Networks, and WiFi networks by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an institutional data network. Our IT team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity for medical professionals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Design, deploy, and manage enterprise Wireless networks for healthcare applications and devices.
2. Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of wireless network performance.
3. Implement and evaluate wireless security protocols to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
4. Resolve complex technical issues involving network equipment, high availability applications, and diverse media environments.
5. Participate in resolving complex issues following departmental crisis management guidelines.
6. Partner with other teams to evaluate and mitigate cyber threats and ensure compliance.
7. Analyze packet capture data.
8. Engage with vendors for technical issue resolution.
9. Plan network growth and install hardware.
10. Coordinate network establishment and maintain documentation and inventory.
11. Perform other essential duties as needed.

Skills & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 7 years of experience in information systems; a Bachelor’s degree can substitute four years of experience, and a Master’s degree can substitute two years.
• Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Wireless network engineering, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Wireless standards, RF design, and security protocols.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Meraki solutions.
• Proficiency with troubleshooting tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, Wireshark.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CWNA, CWSP, CCNP Wireless.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
