Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Wire Harness Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Torrance, CA. You will build custom wire harnesses, assemble PCBAs, and work with specialized connectors in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wire harness technician experience.
• Hands-on wire harness assembly (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, terminating).
• Experience assembling PCBAs and harnesses to spec.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
• Experience with military circular connectors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Build custom wire harnesses according to diagrams and schematics.
• Assemble PCBAs and harnesses to meet specs and quality standards.
• Interpret drawings and schematics for accurate assembly.
• Work with military circular connectors and other specialized components.
• Use fasteners and tools to secure components per engineering requirements.
• Perform manufacturing verification to ensure quality.
• Build test fixtures and harnesses for testing and verification.
• Verify test boxes are safe to mate before progressing to next stage.
• Follow procedures for soldering, crimping, and wiring to maintain quality.
• Handle and move materials, up to 50 lbs as needed.
