Job summary

Senra Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own complex wire harness programs, develop work instructions, formboards, and tooling, and drive process improvements across production.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, CAD, PFMEA, lean practices, and strong customer-facing skills. IPC-620 or NASA STD 8739.4 experience is preferred; onsite with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, STEM field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of directly related hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to work independently with high accountability.
• Strong customer-facing skills and clear technical communication.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for drawings and tooling designs.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, 5S, lean manufacturing, time studies and capacity planning.
• Experience evaluating parts/processes and selecting optimal assembly approaches.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Own programs end-to-end, managing customer relationships and technical inquiries.
• Develop engineering packages, work instructions, formboards, and tooling.
• Drive process improvements to quality, efficiency, and throughput.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and customers to deliver.
• Coordinate with software for traceability, workflow, and reporting.
• Maintain IPC-620/NASA 8739.4 alignment and relevant requirements.
