Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking skilled elelectromechanical assemblers in California to perform a wide range of wire harness and cable assembly operations. The role requires reading schematics, following BOMs, and producing high-quality assemblies for complex systems.

Responsibilities include wiring, soldering, harness routing, and supporting First Article Assembly with strict adherence to safety and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years closely related custom/prototype assembly experience in an electromechanical environment.
• Demonstrated experience with wire stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering.
• Cable & Harness Routing and Termination Experience supporting First Article Assembly (FAI) builds.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire preparation tasks including stripping, tinning, lead prep, and termination.
• Hand solder wires and cables to high density and/or low profile connectors.
• Crimp, stake, fasten, and secure wires and connectors using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Perform complex wire and cable harness assembly operations per schematics and BOMs.
• Support First Article Assembly (FAI) builds and address drawing issues.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair wiring defects; document quality checks.
